Festivals of Mason was created to help develop and promote special events and entertainment for the City of Mason. Our goal is to present family-oriented events, invite participation from local business, and add value to the quality of life in our community.

2011 Mason Heritage & Bicycle Festival

Festivals of Mason is proud to announce the 2011 Mason Heritage & Bicycle Festival. It all starts off with one of the area’s largest parade, followed by a day of entertainment on stage and activities for the whole family.
Homegrown talent hits the stage! The eighth annual Mason Idol finals competition will once again be live on stage - preliminary rounds will take place in the weeks leading up to the Festival. Cash prizes are awarded for first place winners in each age category - be sure to visit the Mason Idol page for more details.
New for this year!
Decorated Bicycles in the parade! Bring your decorated bike to the Municipal Building in the morning for the parade and enter the Bicycle Decorating Contest.
The City Scavenger Hunt. In the afternoon gather the family up for a fun ride through Mason on a scavenger hunt. This is an opportunity to take an enjoyable journey through the streets and bicycle paths of Mason. There will be plenty of fun things to do along the way, all the while learning how to get around Mason on your bike ... and discovering our city's heritage.
Mason Rise & Shine Ride.
Festivals of Mason will be hosting a 25-mile morning bike ride through the streets of Mason beginning at 6:30AM before the Festival. It begins and ends at the Mason Grill - 124 E. Main Street. The entry
fee is $20 - riders will receive a commemorative Festival tee shirt.
Breakfast will be available at the Mason Grill after the ride for an additional charge.
